The vacation apartment “im Blauen Haus” is located on the top floor of a listed house in the Swiss House style from 1908 and was awarded 3 stars. It is centrally located in the renowned vacation resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the Partenkirchen district and close to many great hiking trails, cable cars and ski areas. The 75 m² apartment on the top floor consists of a light-flooded living room, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 3 bedrooms as well as a bathroom and thus offers space for 5 persons. Further amenities include Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a storage room for skis or bicycles, a baby bed, a crib and a high chair (all 3 on request). The apartment has 2 balconies. From the living room balcony you have a view of the Alp- and Zugspitze, from the kitchen balcony you have a view of the ski jump Garmisch-Partenkirchen. There is also a common garden area which you are welcome to use. A small beer garden and a bus stop are right next to the building. The next supermarket and a bakery are 350 m and 4 minutes walk respectively. In 20 minutes walking distance (1,6 km) you can reach the train station and the Olympic facilities, and after a 25 minutes walk (2 km) to the city center you will find many stores, restaurants and the charming architecture of the city. The nearest cable car is 8 minutes (3.4 km) away, and after 12 km or 21 minutes by car to the Zugspitze cable car you can ride to the top, from where you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Alps.
A garage for parking is available on the property. Pets are allowed by appointment, but the hosts ask guests to remove their hair with a vacuum cleaner before departure. Bed linen and towels are available on request. An additional fee of 10 € per stay is charged for bed linen. Late check-in after 0.00 am is possible.
The current visitor's tax according to the current status is 3 € per day for guests aged 16 years and older and 1 € per day for guests aged 6 to 15 years. The current tourist tax must be paid on site.
A washing machine and a dryer can be used in the basement.
Smoking is prohibited in the apartment.
